Why set parental controls in TiviMate Premium?<\/h4>

We give you many choices in TV channels, series and films. This also includes 18+ (adult) channels. You may not need these channels yourself or you may not want them to be visible to your children. Therefore, in TiviMate you can disable this group of channels or other groups of channels and enable a password to see the group of channels in TiviMate Premium. Below is an explanation of how to set this password.<\/p>

Set parental controls
(hide groups with 18+ channels with a password)<\/h4>

1.<\/strong> Go to Settings<\/strong> (the gear at the bottom left of the main menu)<\/p>

2.<\/strong>Click <\/span><\/b>Parental controls<\/b><\/span><\/p>

\"\"<\/b><\/span><\/p>

3.<\/strong> Click<\/strong> Off<\/strong> to turn on parental controls<\/p>

\"\"<\/p>

4.<\/strong> Create<\/strong> a PIN<\/strong> to set parental controls. Click up or down on your remote control to choose a number and then press the select button on your remote control<\/a> to confirm the number. Do this for all 4 digits of the PIN.<\/p>

5.<\/strong> Once you have selected the 4 numbers, press<\/strong> the select button<\/strong> on your remote control.\"\"<\/p>

6.<\/strong> Enter the same personal PIN<\/strong> again to confirm the PIN.\"\"<\/b><\/p>

7.<\/strong> Scroll down to Group options<\/strong> and click on it. This will cause the blue button to slide to the right.\"\"<\/p>

8.<\/strong> Now go to the group you want to hide. In our example FOR ADULTS.
Click<\/strong> on the select button<\/strong> on your remote control and hold it down<\/strong>.\"\"<\/p>

9.<\/strong> A pop up will appear to enter your PIN code. Enter<\/strong> your PIN<\/strong>.\"\"<\/p>

10. <\/strong>The group menu appears. Scroll down to <\/span>Hide group<\/strong> and click<\/span>.\"\"<\/p>

11.<\/strong> A pop-up will appear with the message Hide group?<\/span> Click<\/strong> on<\/span> Hide group<\/strong>.\"\"<\/strong><\/p>

12.<\/strong> The group ‘FOR ADULTS’ has now disappeared from the menu. If the group wishes to be made visible again, the PIN code will have to be entered.\"\"<\/p>

How do I make the group visible again?<\/h4>

13.<\/strong> Stand on any group, in our example NL | GENERAL. Click<\/strong> on the select\/ok button<\/strong> on your remote control and hold it down.<\/strong>\"\"<\/p>

14.<\/strong> A pop up will appear to enter your PIN code. Enter<\/strong> your PIN<\/strong>. \"\"<\/strong><\/p>

15.<\/strong> The group menu appears. Scroll down to Manage Groups<\/strong> and click on it.\"\"<\/p>

16.<\/strong> Click<\/strong> TV<\/strong>\"\"<\/p>

17.<\/strong> Scroll down and click<\/strong> the group<\/strong> you want to make visible again.\"\"<\/p>

18.<\/strong> The button next to the group name shifts to the right and turns blue. The group is now visible again.\"\"<\/p>

19.<\/strong> If you want to hide the group again, follow steps 13 to 18, but turn the group on instead of off. Move the button next to the group from blue to gray.\"\"<\/p>
