Getting Developer Options on Amazon Fire TV Stick (2022)<\/h4>

Developer Options have been removed on certain devices after the rollout of the Fire TV OS update 7.2.8.5.<\/p>

Follow these steps to make the Developer Options appear MY FIRE TV menu:<\/p>

1.<\/strong>\u00a0Select FireStick\u00a0Settings<\/strong><\/p>

2.<\/strong>\u00a0Click\u00a0My Fire TV<\/strong><\/p>

3.<\/strong>\u00a0Click\u00a0About<\/strong>\u00a0(only if you\u00a0DO NOT<\/strong>\u00a0see Developer Options on this screen).<\/p>

4.<\/strong> Click on the Select Button<\/strong> of your Fire TV Stick Remote <\/strong>quickly\u00a07<\/strong> times<\/span> while the name of your device (e.g. ‘Fire TV Stick Lite’, ‘Fire Stick 4K Max’ etc.) is selected.<\/p>

5.<\/strong>\u00a0You will see a notification at the bottom saying\u00a0No need, you are already a developer.\u00a0<\/strong>That\u2019s it, you have enabled Developer Options.<\/p>

6.<\/strong>\u00a0Press the back button once or go back to\u00a0Settings<\/strong>\u00a0>\u00a0My Fire TV\u00a0<\/strong>and you will now see Developer Options.<\/p>

Now you can go into Developer Options and enable Apps from Unknown Sources to sideload APKs on your FireStick device.<\/p>
